Loneliness

“When you can bear your own loneliness, you are free

“************

Loneliness is an interesting phenomenon.

Loneliness is recognising one’s alone-ness…… AND…… being un-happy, depressed or down right pissed off……… at being alone.

There is a hankering for the other.

Whether that other is in the form or a relationship, biological or spiritual.

Or in the form of a self-defining activity.

Something, anything…but this solitude of the moment.

Moment after moment after moment.

So if physical life sucks…get onto FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram……🙂

To bear your own loneliness….is to assume that it is a burden.

And so long the sense of a burden……so long the sense of being weighed down.

Caged.

No matter what gimmickry is attempted to un-cage from that burden.

The seeing that loneliness will always come with a my.

Ergo, the thought, the feeling, even body sensations….all of which collage into the sense of being lonely…..infers the me, for which the sense of being lonely, has a meaning.

The me will always be lonely.

For it creates the you, the other…..and this created you…whatever that be…..is always apart, separate.

Temporary feelings of together-ness…..just balms the fear, the disquietude…..the despair…..temporarily.

The watching of the drama of the me.

And snap….the seeing that what is watched….no aspect of that watched story of the me…..with all its dimensions of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual….

…..nothing of that razzmatazz, has anything to do with oneself.

The freedom in seeing that in the very construction of a cage by thought….
….no cage has ever caged.

That, in the very creation of a hankering……..no hankering …has ever…..created a sense of lack.

That, in the very idea of a burden to be “beared”…….there is no weight…..to be taken on, by anybody, or anything.

Never has been.

Never will be.
